Welcome to the Texas Ski Rangers!

 

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our club membership. The Texas Ski Rangers (TSR) club is one of 77 chapters of the National Brotherhood of Skiers, an organization active throughout the United States and Europe. The Texas Ski Rangers membership is open to the general public on a limited basis*.

 

Membership Requirements

Application for membership in the Texas Ski Rangers club is open to all individuals over the age of twenty-one (21) years. Children under the age of 18 are granted membership at no charge as part of adult parent/guardian membership. Members must agree to the General Release of Liability, shown below. Membership may be terminated by the Board of Directors for cause, including but not limited to, failure of a Member to comply with the Code of Ethics, or failure to adhere to the Bylaws, the Club's Articles of Incorporation, or any other Club-recognized policies and procedures. The decision of the Board of Directors with respect to the suspension or expulsion of a Member shall be final.

 

Release of Liability

I understand it is incumbent upon me as a member when participating in any Texas Ski Rangers club event to do so in a manner which will not be a threat to the safety of myself or others. I have voluntarily applied for membership with the TEXAS SKI RANGERS. I am aware that skiing is a hazardous activity and hereby agree to accept any and all risks of injury or death. In the event of any injury or death to myself or any of my family at any Texas Ski Rangers sponsored event, including skiing, I hereby agree that neither I nor my heirs, guardians, legal representatives, or assigns will sue, make claim against, attach property of, or prosecute Texas Ski Rangers, its officers, directors, or agents for injury or damage resulting from the negligence or other acts, however caused, by an officer, director, employee, agent, or contractor of Texas Ski Rangers, as a result of my participation and do hereby release and forever discharge Texas Ski Rangers, its officers, directors and agents from any actions, claims of demands now, have, or may hereafter have for any injury or damage resulting from out participating in any Texas Ski Rangers sponsored activity. I also understand a $25.00 fee will be charged by Texas Ski Rangers and paid by me to the Texas Ski Rangers for any check unpaid by my bank, for any reason.

 

 

To apply for club membership, please proceed with the membership process below. This process will include:

 

Step 1: Membership application

TSR membership is open to all adults and their families.

 

Step 2: Dues payment

Each member will be required to pay the annual dues. The membership period runs June 1 to May 31 of each year.  After Summit or AMCC, the dues are reduced.

 

Step 3: Release of liability and Code of Conduct

Upon review and acceptance into the club, you will also be asked to comply with the policies set forth by the club. All members are required to acknowledge the club rules and must sign/forward any required documents in order for club membership to be considered final.
