Trip Information

The Texas Ski Rangers offers travel and recreational opportunities to many renowned resorts in the United States, Canada and other hot spots around the globe. To ensure that members receive the best bargains at premium locations, we are continually researching and preparing for upcoming events 12 months a year.

Our club trips are generally from 3 to 5 days long (typically over an extended weekend); however, some trips are as long as 7 to 8 days. Domestic trips include locations such as Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada and Canada. The mountainous areas in the western United States provide the best snow conditions (powdery snow) than the icier regions of the northeastern United States.

Most of the out-of-town trips are sold on a per-person, double-occupancy basis. If you sign up without a roommate, generally a roommate will be assigned. For some trips, you have the option of purchasing a single supplement if you wish to have your own room, but on some trips this may not be possible.

Typically, lodging accommodations at resorts consist of either condominiums or hotels. Condos are spacious and comfortable (sleeping 4 to 10 people) and are great for families. Most have fully equipped kitchens (so residents can buy and prepare their own meals), and some are even available with jacuzzis! Condos are also available for singles wanting to room with other singles, if so desired. Youth accommodations are generally no charge when accompanied by parents or guardian.

Associated costs for ski trips include air, lodging, lift tickets, ski rentals (if needed), ski lessons (as required), and ground transportation from arrival point to the resort.

Please note that the Texas Ski Rangers are able to offer such great trips at such great prices in large part because we commit to them early. That requires a Cancellation policy, posted on the website, such that, if you cancel you may have deducted from any refund 1) the $25 cancellation fee, and 2) additional fees to cover charges from our vendors for late cancellation. Thus, depending on the circumstances, you may not receive any refund if you cancel. Check with the trip captain for details for each trip.
